Raje Toys LTD. Launches with Dr. Brain by Jim Freckingham

Raje Toys LTD. is a brand new British toy company that was just launched last November by Richard Emms, Adam Boreham, Jim Freckingham and Eddie Deighton. Their first limited edition figure, we just received in at Spaghetti Project, is Dr. Brain by Jim Freckingham.

There is two colorways with a production run of 450 pieces for the regular version (Yellow) and just 50 pieces for the chase (Black).

"The Civil War and Our Founding Fathers" Custom Qee Show

Toy2R 15th Anniversary Qee Show - www.toy2rusa.com

Toy2R is celebrating their 15th anniversary of the Qee figure. As part of the year celebration, Spaghetti Project was asked to host a custom Qee show. This show will feature customized 8 inch Qee figures from 44 artists in theme of "The Civil War and Our Founding Fathers"

20% of the sale proceeds from these custom Qee figures will be donated to:

Opening reception will take place on Saturday, July 10th from 5-11pm with some artists in attendance.

MISS-Adventures of Indian Pussy (Solo Exhibition)

Imani K Brown (in.fa.mousIKB) is an emerging name in the urban arts industry. She is a Washington, DC native and 926a very well-rounded artist. Establishing herself as a tattoo artist in 2006, IKB created Artistic-Sole , an artistic entity committed to & inspired by wearable art. Though it encompasses everything from tattoos, to live art, customized toys and much more, Artistic Sole has gained a name best known for its custom hand painted kicks with a graffiti twist.

Since conception,IKB and Artistic Sole have released a limited edition line of custom sneakers, Art & Sole(ism), and celebrated its success with a public launch in 2008 with special guest, Bobbito Garcia. IKB has appeared on behalf of Artistic Sole in numerous editorials and projects including The DEFintion of Hip Hip, Acclaim Magazine, Highsnobette, Female Sneaker Fiend, Art Whino, SolSource, One Versus Many, The City of Ink, and DEKKA. The resume of exhibitions, event appearances, and upcoming projects are endless but if you’re local to the DMV, the team is sure you’ve been acquainted.

Currently, IKB is undergoing re-branding of the image of Artistic Sole which has led way to many projects. Of which involve group and solo exhibits, live sneaker exhibits, trunk shows, and much more. More importantly, the new spokeskitty and face of IKB and Artistic Sole, Indian Pussy, will be making special appearance today at Spaghetti Project.

DSC_0398Indian Pussy is the alter ego of IKB and is committed to providing some of the best imagery in street art inspired pieces, customized goodies, propaganda, AND tattoos! She, like IKB, is dedicating her livelihood to creating and artistically serving the people.
